Hey! Guess what happened?

That's right - a new episode of ROCK AND ROLL RADIO dropped a couple days ago! Did you have your calendars marked?!?

C'mon, you had to know that was coming. But when you tune in - as your calendar (me) says you should - what will you hear?

OK - it's all about rock and roll EVERY week but this week it's literally about ROCK AND ROLL. We've got a show heavy on the glory of what rock means. After all, like Gene Simmons said - we all want to be ROCK stars, don't we?

I am recording the latest episode of ROCK AND ROLL RADIO right now! So why am I jumping the gun and putting this up now?

Because...IT'S THE PRINCE SHOW!

This year, we've got some reallllly deep stuff, some fantastic funk, and nothing but guitars, guitars and guitars. My advice? Listen to this one through headphones. Like Prince said in "200 Balloons", his funk is multi-layered. Even after 30+ years, when I jam to this stuff through headphones I still hear stuff I'd never heard before.

This year I'm using the breaks to tell my Prince stories. Well, not MY Prince story. I've got two more breaks remaining at this point and it's clear I'm going to need them to tell my daughter's stories. Oh well, hers are better than mine!

It's Friday, so it's ROCK AND ROLL RADIO! There's only way to celebrate the weekend and it's with the best rock and roll ever recorded - and we've got it!

I'm currently listening to the 5/19/23 episode....Man Rodeo, thanks for the shout out!!!! Also I've missed like 3 The Quart Of Blood Technique shows. I still haven't seen them live. God willing i will soon though.



One last thing. On the desktop player, the previous episodes list seems kinda wonky. It shows last Friday's episode (5/19/23), but not the one from 5/12/23. Doesn't it suppose to show the last 2 episodes?? It does show the episode from 3/1/23. Or the episode from February 24th. Look at the photo, to see what i mean.

I don't know! It seems that usually, episodes are up for a week and then get replaced when the latest show drops.

One of the things I'd like to do is make the old shows available and if I move to a streaming model, I'll be able to do that.
