I know we all can use someone to talk to, vent to, etc...and there are many of us here who can be that person...I want to let ya'll who don't know, know...I am also an ordained clergy, and while I am not a pastoral counselor (not my degree nor certification) I am someone who has an ear, whom you can message privately and I offer unbiased, objective presence... I guess not a typical pastor in that I am known to cuss like a sailor, I don't tolerate much bullshit and I am not afraid to call people out on their's.....but I am also confidential, and really takes what someone says or is hurting about seriously.

This is so important. I remember before the JWs were chased out of the Org (Today's problem is not new), there was a JW who I am sure was suicidal due to an apostasy issue. All I could do was Orgnot other JWs to seek to get them to help. I never was able to find out what happened.

Shunning is not exclusive to any group or individual and unfortunately it's something very triggering to me when I experience and/or witness it.
