Do you have some favorites? Here’s one of mine. Molasses Gingerbread Cookies

Truth: it’s labor intensive. The dough must be rolled out and cookie cutters are needed. But! They’re really flavorful.
I almost always use whole wheat pastry flour for cookies, pies, etc.

Oh. There’s a confusion in steps 3&4. I don’t know why the recipe says to transfer the rolled-out dough to a cookie sheet and chill it before cutting out the shapes. Use the cookie cutters on the rolled out dough, transfer the shapes to the cookie sheet and then chill the sheets w shapes before baking.

One of my favorite chefs on YouTube: "Deddy's Kitchen", he is Jamaican and shows people how to make many of the
popular foods, desserts, drinks.

One of the recent posts - Jamaican Sorrel Fruit Cake.

Sounds interesting.... do you have the recipe? :flower::jig::kiss::kitty:

Merry Christmas / Happy Holiday / Hanukkah / Kwanzaa or felicitations for another holiday you may celebrate at this time of year. Wishing you peace, goodwill, joy.

And a love symbol cookie cutter. Not super efficient though. The best cookie cutters minimize empty space and cut out shapes that fit together like an m.c. Escher tessellation (a mosaic-like design). I’d like a love symbol cookie cutter anyway.
