We haven’t made a dedicated thread and 2 years have passed. The war continues.
The U.S. promised to support Ukraine but now seems poised to renege on this promise due to a few republicans in the House of Representatives, led by speaker mike johnson. He refused to bring a Senate bill funding Ukraine to the floor for a vote, which, by all accounts would have passed. Instead, johnson gave the house a 2-week vacation and himself went on the stump w t----.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainians are in such dire straits that they have to count bullets.
